As a newborn, Chang Po Ching lost his sight in one eye. Growing up he struggled to look in the mirror and wishing for surgery. Over time he changed his mind and decided to not have surgery, thinking “this is who I am and I want to keep being me”. Now he’s a husband and father of two boys and he works with troubled kids in a juvenile detention center.
