"I wrote this song after watching the HBO series ‘Chernobyl.' The crux of that story is such a common one, whether it’s a small and personal scenario, or something that involves an entire nation. The song talks about power held in hands that don’t merit it, vital truth that is hushed and hidden, and the horrifying cost of protecting personal pride." Some of you might already be familiar with Sierra Lundy’s work and a few of you might be able to pinpoint where I’m heading with this information. Sierra and her partner Jon Middleton are already well established in the music scene and better known as the indie-folk duo Ocie Elliott.
Sierra’s vocals are best described as a remarkable mixture of smooth and dreamy, yet clear and present, without being too dominant.
