February the 5th, 1990. One of the most iconic bands of England releases "Enjoy The Silence", the second single of their new album Violator, something that would change the game forever. I was 3 years old and it's still the only song that I can listen to all the time, all day, the whole year. After half a life making music and DJing, this state-of-the-art composition by Martin L. Gore, turned into the danceable jam of my life thanks to Alan Wilder, was one hell of a challenge. And there you go. The 30th anniversary, and I wasn't gonna spend time trying some weird House/Electronic version, it didn't make sense at all. There's plenty of those you may find on the Internet. I wanted to feel it, with the original sounds, and apply my mixing and arrangement techniques, also taking into account some of the Live version touches as you fans will probably notice.
