Behind the track:
This one is centred around distance. I've always loved country songs that use vehicles as metaphors and I could clearly picture being on a train as you're spirited away from someone or somewhere important to you. The idea that time and distance will make the hurt less painful is something we hear a lot and I suppose I was using the metaphor of a train to argue that actually, no amount of miles passed can make you forget something that means that much to you. You don't ever stop hurting, you just learn to live with it.
